Why CommandGate Exists

CommandGate is built for the awkward stage before support work becomes a mature system. A founder, operator, consultant, or first IT hire needs a credible first answer, a trail of visible checks, and a safer way to decide what happens next.

Why it exists

Early teams often hit technical support problems before they have the tooling, process, or headcount to handle them cleanly.

What it should do

Help an operator turn a symptom into a credible first answer, show the evidence behind that answer, and keep fixes approval-gated and reviewable.

What it should not claim

CommandGate is not positioned as a replacement for experienced engineers, MSPs, RMM platforms, observability stacks, or security tools.

Beta expectations

Bring one real issue

The useful beta test is not a demo script. It is one real problem where a visible first-pass diagnosis would help you decide whether to fix, escalate, or document the issue.

  • +Bring one real endpoint, server, network, or service issue from your day-to-day work.
  • +Review the checks and evidence before trusting the answer.
  • +Treat fixes as operator-approved actions, not automatic changes.
  • +Send feedback when the answer is useful, incomplete, blocked, or wrong.
